Ordinary Resolutions of The China Light and Power Co. (1918), Ltd.

Pussed on the 21st day of January, 1924.
T an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Members of the above Company duly convened, and held at the Offices of Messrs. Shewan, Tomes & Co., the General Managers of the said Company, St. George's Building. Victoria, in the Colony of Hong Kong, on Monday, the 21st day of January 1924, the following Ordinary Resolutions were duly passed :—
(1) That the authorised Capital of the Company (which is now $2,000,000 consisting of 400,000 shares of the nominal value of $5 each the whole of which have been issued) be increased to $3,000.000 by the creation of 200,000 additional shares of the nominal value of $5 each ranking (subject as hereinafter mentioned) as from date of allot- ment for dividend and in all other respects pari passu with the shares constituting the Company's present issued Capital.
(2) That the said 200,000 shares be offered in the first instance (in the proportion of one new share for every complete number of two old shares held by them respectively) to the members of the Company who on the 21st day of January, 1924, are registered in the Company's Share Register as the holders of the said 400,000 shares at par and so that on acceptance of the offer the nominal amount of $5 due in respect of such 200,000 shares shall be payable as to the sum of $1 part thereof on acceptance of such offer and as to the balance thereof at such time or times as the General Managers of the Company shall see fit to make a call or calls in respect of the same Provided nevertheless that at least Three months' prior notice of any such call shall be given.
